You can choose different types of French Horn: Single French Horn F (Fa), Single French Horn B♭ (Si♭), Double. French Horn Fingering Chart Many players prefer to use the Bb Horn (trigger) when they reach second line and continue to use it throughout the upper register. Above the note, it will tell you the note name, such as F.
Be aware that F alto horns (as well as descant and triple horns) are very sensitive to right-hand position, and a lazy or out-of-place right hand will cause major intonation inconsistencies on these.
The Fingerings given are for double horn, Single horn in F, and Single horn in Bb.
