Scoop onto a cookie sheet, and flatten the raw cookie completely.
Cream together butter, shortening, brown sugar, sugar, and eggs. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside. Place pieces of butter in a light-colored pan over medium heat.
